Our Commitment

We recognize that addressing climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our time. As a leader in sustainable engineering, we hold ourselves to the same high standards we advise our clients to adopt.

That's why we've committed to achieving net-zero carbon emissions across our entire value chain by 2030—well ahead of the timeline set by the Paris Climate Agreement.

Our commitment extends beyond our own operations to include our supply chain, business travel, employee commuting, and the use of our products and services by clients.

Our Initiatives

Renewable Energy

Renewable Energy

100% renewable

Our office runs on 100% renewable energy from solar and wind sources, cutting our operational carbon footprint significantly.

Sustainable Transport

Sustainable Transport

72% reduction

We've implemented an electric vehicle fleet and provide incentives for employees using public transport or cycling to work.

Water Conservation

Water Conservation

45% less water

Rainwater harvesting and water-efficient fixtures have reduced our water consumption and associated carbon emissions.

Circular Economy

Circular Economy

86% waste diverted

We've implemented waste reduction programs and prioritize materials that can be reused, repaired, and recycled.

Complementing Reduction with Offsets

While we prioritize direct emissions reductions, we recognize that some emissions are currently unavoidable. For these, we invest in high-quality carbon offset projects that remove or reduce carbon from the atmosphere.

Our offset portfolio focuses on nature-based solutions such as reforestation and forest conservation, as well as renewable energy projects in developing countries. All our offset projects are third-party verified and deliver additional benefits for communities and biodiversity.

Our Next Steps

2023-2025

Supply Chain Transformation

Engage with all tier-1 suppliers to set their own science-based targets. Implement a new procurement policy that prioritizes low-carbon materials and services.

2025-2027

Zero-Carbon Projects

Launch our zero-carbon project methodology that will enable all client projects to be designed and implemented with minimal carbon impact.

2027-2030

Carbon Negative Operations

Move beyond carbon neutrality to become carbon negative, removing more carbon from the atmosphere than we emit across our entire value chain.
