Supply Chain Code of Conduct

1. Purpose

At Green Engineering Ltd, we are committed to conducting our business ethically, responsibly, and sustainably. This Supply Chain Code of Conduct outlines the minimum standards we expect from all suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, service providers, and business partners (collectively referred to as “Suppliers”). It is designed to ensure that our entire supply chain reflects our values—particularly in relation to human rights, environmental responsibility, labour practices, and ethical conduct.

2. Scope

This Code applies to all organisations and individuals who provide goods or services to Green Engineering Ltd, regardless of location, industry, or contract size. We expect Suppliers to share this Code with their own employees and supply chains and to take steps to ensure compliance throughout their operations.

3. Labour and Human Rights

Green Engineering Ltd expects Suppliers to uphold the highest standards of human rights and labour practices, including:

  • No forced, bonded, or involuntary labour
  • No child labour in violation of national or international laws
  • Fair working hours, rest periods, and conditions
  • Wages that meet or exceed legal minimums
  • Respect for freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining
  • Safe and healthy working environments
  • No discrimination or harassment on the basis of race, gender, age, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic

Suppliers must also comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and have appropriate processes in place to detect, prevent, and address any form of modern slavery in their operations.

4. Environmental Responsibility

Suppliers are expected to manage their environmental impacts responsibly and comply with all relevant environmental laws and regulations. This includes:

  • Taking steps to reduce emissions, waste, and pollution
  • Conserving energy and natural resources
  • Promoting sustainable sourcing of raw materials
  • Preventing environmental harm from manufacturing or service delivery
  • Supporting circular economy principles where appropriate

Where possible, Suppliers should align their practices with internationally recognised standards such as ISO 14001 or equivalent.

5. Health and Safety

Suppliers must provide a working environment that is safe and compliant with applicable health and safety laws. This includes:

  • Identifying and mitigating workplace hazards
  • Providing appropriate PPE and safety training
  • Reporting and investigating accidents or near-misses
  • Ensuring equipment and machinery is safe to operate

Health and safety is a shared responsibility, and we expect open communication around risks and incidents.

6. Ethical Business Practices

Green Engineering Ltd has zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, fraud, or unethical conduct. Suppliers must:

  • Comply with all applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws
  • Never offer, give, request, or accept bribes or facilitation payments
  • Avoid conflicts of interest in all dealings
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Protect confidential information and respect intellectual property

We also expect Suppliers to act with honesty and integrity in all communications and representations.

7. Legal and Regulatory Compliance

Suppliers must fully comply with all relevant national and international laws, regulations, and industry standards related to:

  • Employment and labour rights
  • Environmental protection
  • Taxation and financial reporting
  • Product safety and quality
  • Data protection and privacy
  • Health and safety

8. Monitoring and Enforcement

Green Engineering Ltd reserves the right to assess and audit Suppliers’ compliance with this Code. We may request supporting documentation or evidence, conduct site visits, or ask for corrective actions where standards are not met. In cases of non-compliance, we will work with Suppliers to resolve issues collaboratively. However, serious breaches or failure to take corrective action may result in suspension or termination of the business relationship. 8. Monitoring and Enforcement

9. Reporting Concerns

Suppliers, their workers, or other stakeholders may report suspected violations of this Code confidentially to Green Engineering Ltd. 10. Continuous Improvement

We recognise that some Suppliers may need time and support to fully meet these standards. Green Engineering Ltd encourages transparency and ongoing improvement and is committed to working with Suppliers to build more ethical, inclusive, and sustainable supply chains.

11. Acceptance

By entering into a business relationship with Green Engineering Ltd, Suppliers agree to adhere to the principles outlined in this Code.
