Green Engineering continues to reinforce its reputation as one of the UK’s most dependable engineering partners, delivering high-quality, technically robust solutions across transmission, distribution, and major grid-connected developments. With multiple projects progressing simultaneously across 33kV, 66kV, 132kV and 400kV infrastructure, the business is demonstrating both its scalability and its deep understanding of modern network requirements.
Over the past quarter, GE’s multi-disciplinary teams have been engaged in a series of complex consultancy, design, and compliance assignments for DNOs, ICPs and private developers. These include primary engineering, civil and structural works, protection & control design, earthing studies, and coordination with utility standards for adoption. This consistent level of delivery reaffirms GE’s position as a trusted partner across the EHV landscape.
A major focus for the company continues to be supporting the UK’s accelerating transition to renewable generation and battery energy storage. Projects currently undertaken involve detailed grid code assessments, G99 compliance verification, and ensuring that customer-owned assets are built and documented to the rigorous standards required for DNO adoption. With renewable developers facing tightening connection windows and increased scrutiny from network operators, GE’s ability to streamline the design-to-adoption pathway is proving invaluable.
Internally, the company continues to invest in strengthening procedures, ensuring every deliverable—whether a protection grading study or a full substation design package—meets the highest levels of technical accuracy and safety. GE’s recent work has shown strong alignment with the industry’s expectations around quality assurance, environmental responsibility, and lifecycle engineering, supporting customers from feasibility through energisation.
Managing Director Joshua highlighted the trajectory: “Every project we deliver reinforces our commitment to engineering excellence. The grid is evolving rapidly, and our role is to help customers navigate that complexity with absolute confidence—technically, commercially, and operationally.”
With more projects due to energise in the coming months and an expanding pipeline across the UK, Green Engineering is well positioned for continued growth. As demand for robust grid connections, smarter infrastructure, and compliant substation developments increases, GE remains focused on delivering safe, future-proof engineering that supports a stable and sustainable electricity network.
