Green Engineering is proud to announce that our Totmonslow Substation project was successfully energised to the grid and formally adopted by the local Distribution Network Operator (DNO) on Friday of last week.
This milestone marks the completion of a technically demanding and collaboratively delivered project, involving end-to-end engineering, management, and compliance support from the Green Engineering team.
The Totmonslow scheme included primary substation design, civil and electrical coordination, protection and control integration, and commissioning oversight — all executed to the highest industry standards to ensure full adoption compliance with the local DNO’s requirements.
As an Independent Connection Provider (ICP) operating across the UK, Green Engineering continues to demonstrate excellence in delivering EHV and HV substation projects that align with G99, Grid Code, and Distribution Code compliance frameworks.
The successful energisation of Totmonslow further reinforces Green Engineering’s reputation as a trusted partner to developers, utilities, and network operators, ensuring every asset we deliver is safe, compliant, and future-ready.
This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainable and technically robust energy infrastructure — supporting the UK’s transition to a more resilient and low-carbon network.
